2) Visitors staying with Chinese nationals in China
If you are staying with Chinese national friends or family, then to apply for your China Visa application you will need to request that your host provide you a letter inviting you over, and stating that they will host your stay for the duration as stated. In addition to this letter, a scanned in copy of the Chinese nationals identity card (both sides) will need to be provided for the China visa application, etickets, passport size photograph and passport.
