China Student Visa (Visa Category X)

To apply on for this type of China visa requires a JW201 or JW202 form that is issued by the ministry of education of China. This China visa application also requires a letter of admission from the Chinese University.

China Work Visa (Visa Category Z)

To apply for this type of Chinese visa requires an employment permit that is issued by the ministry of labour or from the State Administration of Foreign Experts of China. A letter of invitation issued by the respective Department of China government is required.

China Journalist Visa (Visa Category J-1 or J-2)

For this China visa type a letter that is issued by the Department of Chinese government and a supporting letter from the UK employing company is required.

China Transit Visa (Visa Category G)

A China visa for transit purposes is issued with supporting onward travel documentation for the destination country.
