The Indian Embassy has changed its visa processing system, and they now require the embassy form to be completed online. Once the India visa<\/a><\/strong> form has been completed online, it needs to be printed and signed and sent to us with your passport and 2 photos and any additional information that is required to obtain your India visa.<\/p>\n

Depending on the service you select, we shall return your passport with your India visa in the time frame selected.<\/p>\n

There are several stages to the India visa online application form<\/a><\/strong>, and from customer feedback we have highlighted areas that require clarification and clarity.<\/p>\n

The India visa application<\/a> form can be completed by the link on stage 1. To complete the rest of the India visa application form, please read the instructions below carefully and follow them step by step. If you have any queries with regards to your India visa application form, then please contact us<\/a> and we can assist in any sections you may require assistance on.<\/p>\n

STEP 1:<\/strong> Log onto http:\/\/in.vfsglobal.co.uk\/mandatory.aspx<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n

STEP 2:<\/strong> Click \u201cI AGREE\u201d, and press \u201cCONTINUE\u201d<\/p>\n

STEP 3:<\/strong> A New Page Will Open and Present You with 4 Options<\/p>\n

Select Create Online Visa Application\/s option and begin completing the form<\/p>\n

STEP 4:<\/strong> IMPORTANT:<\/span> <\/strong>YOU WILL THEN BE PRESENTED WITH A LIST OF OPTIONS. COMPLETE THEM ACCORDING TO THE OPTIONS BELOW:<\/p>\n

a. Please select: Goswell Road option<\/p>\n

b. Please select: In-Person option<\/p>\n

c. Please select: Collect In-Person option<\/p>\n

STEP 5:<\/strong> A Passport validation screen will appear which needs to be completed accordingly:<\/p>\n

Enter your passport number and expiry date and press continue. This will then take you to the \u201cPassport\/Visa Details\u201d page.<\/p>\n

STEP 6: <\/strong>Passport\/Visa Details<\/p>\n

Please complete all the entry boxes in the \u201cPassport\/Visa Details\u201d page. Below are important guidelines on particular entry box questions.<\/strong><\/p>\n

1. If visiting India on a holiday, please select Tourist visa<\/a> for the Visa type<\/p>\n

2. Or if visiting India for business, please select Business visa<\/a> for the Visa type<\/p>\n

After clicking continue you then go onto the \u201cIndividual Information\u201d page.<\/p>\n

STEP 7: <\/strong>Individual Information<\/p>\n

Please complete all the boxes in the \u201cIndividual Information\u201d section. Below are some important guidelines on particular entry box questions.<\/strong><\/p>\n

1. <\/span>When entering your name, please ensure that it matches the name as per the passport. Middle names need to be included.<\/p>\n

2. For Previous Nationality, please put NA<\/strong> if you have only ever held one nationality.<\/p>\n

3. For \u201cAddress in India\/City\/Pin Code\u201d, please put NA<\/strong><\/p>\n

4. For \u201cRestricted Area\/Place Permitted\/Reference\u201d, please put NA<\/strong><\/p>\n

5. For \u201cName of the sponsor\/Address\/City\/Post Code\u201d, please put NA<\/strong><\/p>\n

After clicking continue you then go onto the \u201cVAD Details\u201d page.<\/p>\n

STEP 8: <\/strong>VAF Details<\/p>\n

Please complete all the entry box questions in the \u201cVAF Details\u201d page. Below are some important guidelines on particular entry box questions.<\/strong><\/p>\n

1. For \u201cPrevious\/other name\u201d, please put NA<\/strong><\/p>\n

2. For \u201cissuing authority\u201d, this information is usually located in the picture page of your passport and is likely to be either UKPA<\/strong> or IPS<\/strong> for UK passport holders.<\/p>\n

3. For \u201cUK Referees\u201d, these can be persons that you would want contacted in the case of an emergency.<\/p>\n

4. For \u201cIndia Referees\u201d, you can include the details of your India accommodation. If you have no accommodation booked, then please put NA<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Please then press the submit button and follow onto the next steps.<\/strong><\/p>\n

STEP 9:<\/strong> AFTER SUBMITTING YOUR APPLICATION CLICK \u201cCONTINUE\u201d ON THE CHARGES PAGE AND NOTE YOUR WEB REFERENCE NUMBER:<\/p>\n

STEP 10:<\/strong> ON THE \u201cSELECT OPTIONS\u201d PAGE CLICK \u201cDOWNLOAD\/PRINT DOCUMENT\/S\u201d TO OPEN UP THE FORM:<\/p>\n

STEP 11:<\/strong> ON THE DOWNLOAD\/PRINT PAGE, SELECT \u201cDOWNLOAD\/PRINT VAF FORM\u201d:<\/p>\n

STEP 12:<\/strong> ONCE YOU HAVE SAVED AND OPENED YOUR COMPLETED FORM, PRINT A PAPER COPY OF THE VISA FORM AND SIGN AND DATE. YOU ARE NOW READY TO SEND THIS WITH THE REST OF YOUR DOCUMENTS<\/p>\n
