The Taj Mahal

This popular stop is one of the most important for India visa holders and for people across the world. Based in Agra nearby to Delhi, you can visit here on a day trip or spend the night there. You are sure to see some wonderful parts of it and have many fantastic photo moments on offer. There are separate prices for tourist and for locals. Please note the Taj Mahal is closed on a Friday because of the Muslim Friday prayers.

The Temples of South India

Your India visa will allow you to visit the exceptional temples in the states of Tamil Nadu and Kerala. Often these temples are about 10 stories high and have incredible incarnations of Hindu gods painted in a wonderfully colourful format. This is truly a different type of temple, and a different type of world as compared to the temples in North India and everywhere else. It is an idea to visit these temples in the winter time as South India can prove to be a challenge because of the heat for most India visa visitors.

Gateway of India

Located in Mumbai, this monument is a reflection of India’s more modern history and the days when the British empire ruled India. Created as a welcoming post for when Queen Victoria first visited, the sight still continues to attract tourists of their Indian visa as well as locals alike for excellent photo opportunities. Surrounding this wonderful attraction are the Taj Mahal hotel, and Nariman point which has some excellent views of Mumbai. A short ferry ride away is the elephanta caves.

Howrah Bridge in Calcutta

This bridge is a wonderful piece of engineering and connects the main two sides of Calcutta over the Ganges river. Its engineering feat in India is incredible, however its cross over the liveliness of the river, its inhabitants and energy are a reflection of the integration of the two. The bridge is a true sign of what made Calcutta the choice for the capital city of India many years ago.

Osiyan Temple

This temple is a photographers dream and is based in Rajasthan. For those visiting Jaislemer or the nearby cities of Udaipur, this must be visited. The temples are incredible and a must for any India visa holder going there for tourism or business.
