Latest Update on China Visa Issuance from the Chinese Embassy

As a China visa agent, we have an update on the latest status of the issuance of visas from the Chinese Embassy in London. As it may already be known, there have been some changes to their visa requirements, and also the nature of visas they are giving.

To obtain your China visa, all applicants are required to submit there original passport. One completed China visa application form, and one recent passport size photograph are also needed. For those applying for a tourist visa, it is required to submit the following supporting documentation along with those mentioned above. These include a copy of the Chinese hotel booking along with a copy of the outward and return flight booking. If applying for a Chinese business visa, then you will also require the information above as well as a visa notification form issued by the relevant department of Chinese government or the government authorized company.

Note that along with these changes for obtaining the China visa, the embassy are no longer issuing 6 month multiple entry visas, as the max the Chinese embassy shall be issuing will be a double entry visa over 3 months. Please note that each stay is permitted for up to 30 days only.

Changes with the Chinese Embassy visa system has also now meant that they have stopped accepting postal applications, therefore a China visa can be obtained only in person or by using a reputable China visa agency.
